Huh? I can still pull it up! It is a treadle cabinet with painted cherries and a black and white checkered pattern.

Nancy, you can still bring it up because it's in your computer memory. But the ad was deleted. If you hit your refresh button, you'll see... I did see that ad, and the paint job. I could see some people may like the look. Me...no.

Nope, I am not into painted white treadle cabinets with cherries and a black and white checkered path painted on them! Hummmm, maybe I better turn off my computer once in a while? I didn't realize those ads stay in my computer's memory?

Sure am glad I was sitting down when I made this phone call cause it blew me away!! Decided to call the number I found to date my "New Home" machine. Worth a try huh? Gave the lady all the info she asked for and she came back with "1917". While studdering Ohhhh My I told her "Thank You". I was thinking it was probably about the 30's. It's in such good shape for being that old and still has the gold colored measuring tape on the top front of the cabinet with very little wear. (It is still readable)

Ohh if she could only talk!!! The belt for her has been mailed out so am waiting for that and I bought needles the other day while in town. This machine has taken very little cleaning so was obviously was very well taken care of. Am thinking it was in the house with a smoker from the way the silver parts feel and look. Used to be a smoker so know all to well what that stuff does and how hard it is to get rid of.

Someone in the Sac area should nab this. Great price for a vintage Bernina. But, better grab it today before it hits ebay. http://sacramento.craigslist.org/art/2746527328.html

Janice, I am on the look out for a 301 but alas, no budget right now. Wonder if they would deliver to San Diego. Seems like a decent price with the cabinet and stool.

I'd love to buy this one, but as heavy as this machine is, shipping would be very expensive. (

I would have bought it in a hot minute if it were the free arm version.

I'd buy it if I were there. What a good deal, free arm version or not.
