Glenn, Your Monkey Wards machine and cabinet are gorgeous. As usual you have done a fantastic job!
I love your photo of the machine head in front of the ivy on your white wall since it picks up the ivy on the decals of the machine.

Some of the other threads involve threading a 15 clone. Here is what the book that came with this machine says to do.

    Melinda,

Truely a wonderful idea to use ribbon to demo the thread path. Thank you.

The seller said it was his granma's and just needed a new belt and oiling to get it running again - it was last used in 1970 he thought - but he wanted $150 for it. It was a Singer but so grimy couldn't tell much beyond that and I need to know what he was smoking so I could compare his drug of choice to the seller of the Minnesota A treadle that did come with a mighty nice cabinet but the asking price was $675. Most of the machines were extremely high priced today. One ad wanted $125 for a Singer with a curved lid (domed box) because the curved lids were so rare that the price alone was justified by that. The dome had a couple of holes and didn't lock but still it was rare so $125 is his asking price. What irritates me is the sellers who don't post pictures of the great looking machines that say they have. Okay, vent over!
Maybe the same stuff this guys smoking. I like the decals, but all in all pretty rough shape for $2,000 (but it now!)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2tii...re=uploademail this is a new video Muv made - it is on threading the Singer 15. Grab some tea and enjoy. Melinda, I love that ribbon!!! That threading picture needs to go on the 15 clone page! How is your mom doing? I put a link to Muv's video on there too. http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t164361-5.html
