What is with the formatting on this forum? My bigger post above comes out all jammed up. Hard to read and understand. Is that a setting I can change?
Also my direction keys do not work here. Drives me nuts.

At this rate I might as well post without caps, sentences or punctuation.

Joe, I think so. Am willing to try it anyway. Would like a picture of what these parts lok like as I have zero 99 manuals with either of my other 99s. BTW, what is an oscillating hook? Where do you need the screw from?

Joe, Did you get that tension dial problem fixed on the 401a? I posted a suggestion. Did you understand it and give it a try?

Joe, "ham fisted, bubba". Too funny! Is it worth totally disassembling to see of some of the internal parts are bent? I would be tempted to go that route as a last resort. Nah, the hammer would be my last resort. Or a BB gun.
