Wasn't there a post where you recommended what to do if a motor had been oiled instead of using lube on it? Something about running the motor wide open for 10-15 minutes maybe?
Can you do this with a Featherweight? Not sure if it was oiled but think it may have been. Any suggestions would be helpful.

    Thanks,

Yeah run it like the wind and it might smoke a little but it will clear up after a bit.

Cute guys really cute...Luckily I have connections in Nashville so it might be a good thing to get. I still have to look at it and see but who knows I just bought a butt load of needles for this and the Singer W9 machines so I would be good!!

Oh Lisa how is the $15 treadle did you get it yet? I am really hearing talk to me LOL!!

Hubby says when you start taking in strays you have become adpotive parents of old sewing machines. We have several singers so we must have a quartet or a choir.
