The professional button holer will have 'STRAIGHT' on the short shank button holer. There are a few button holers to fit odd shafts but the part that attaches to the shaft is odd shaped too. IS THIS CLEAR????????
Yes! Very clear! Thanks for your help. I knew someone one would know. This was my yard sale bargan for $1.

Call the police! You stole it!!! Those will work on any low shank machine - kind of fun to figure out how they work.

    Glenn does have fantastic accommodations!!!
Yeah, then you can come to Indianapolis - we'll put you up in a tent in the yard - short walk to the bath and kitchen... Close to everything... You can have your pick of sewing machine tables or maybe if you get lucky a machine... Oh and if you like we can go junkin' and that's close too...

Chris if you are trying to fix a 301 you loosen up or take off the throat plate. Then put things where you want them and then hang on and then screw them back down.

A 301 of course. It appears Murphy is running amuck in my life again.
