I kept looking in on it and it finally sold after 3 or 4 months. Oh well, guess the Jones family got it.

Well, I would love to get a Jones machine since my daughter's married name is Jones!

Well, In walks a very pretty lady that looks dazed. She mutters something about any pink machines. I watch her.
And then I realize that this must be Anamaria's sister.

So, I get brave and ask her if she happens to know a person by the name of Anamaria. She looks surprised and says yes, and do I know her. Big smile goes across my face and I say yes, I have met Anamaria at the TOGA.

She then asks for help. That she is so overwhelmed and that she wants to surprise her sister with a machine, but all of these machines look so bad.

Well, that Necchi Supernova that I really didn't need is now Anamaria's.

I had a blast shopping with Anamaria's sister. We hunted through chaos, clutter, and disorder to find all that was needed for that Necchi Supernova. We found two foot pedals, Necchi bobbins, Necchi bobbin case, manual, and some other wonderful goodies.

She told me that she was ready to walk out, that all the chaos was too much for her. She thanked me for rescuing her.

Anamaria, It was my pleasure to help your sister. I had a wonderful time hunting for all the items. Enjoy!!!
Monica, what a fun way to spend some time! I bet you went home with the biggest smile on your face! Sometimes giving something away is much more rewarding than keeping it for yourself! I can't wait for Anamaria to post photos of her new machine from you and her sister! Way to go girl!!!

Ok my Pfaff 260 arrived this evening! Miriam, wow you did a great job packing that machine! The box weighed 44 lbs, and was full of bubble wrap, peanuts, and boxed twice! It arrived in great shape! I have been playing with it ever since it got here!

Miriam, I don't think that foot pedal went to this machine! The foot pedal says "Made in the US," and the Pfaff is a 1961 machine made in Germany! I bet it had as foot pedal more like my Pfaff 130! I wish it had a cord, but I will take it to our local sewing repair guy next week. Hopefully, he has a cord!

Oh and I love the little spool cozies you added from Glenn! I also got some of those spool cozies from Janis!

I already bought a service manual and the decorative stitch selector card! Thank you for the manual too!

I bought a yellow Brother today and who knows how long it's been there, but someone wrote $9.00 on it in magic marker. It's very faded but still very visible. Any ideas how to get it off and keep the paint intact?

Try rubbing alcohol ,google removing sharpie ink and you will find tips but that is the one I was most often. I have also heard that covering the marks with a dry erase marker and wiping it off with a soft cloth will work.

Nancy, Pfaff cords are readily available if you google. They're pricey, though. Maybe you can get one second hand locally, but otherwise you can get them on ebay or via all the various sewing machine supply places.

Rubbing alcohol won't damage the paint? I had considered it but was worried:<

try using a magic eraser...then I'd sure love to see a pic. I have been searching for a pretty yellow machine to use for my Booth displays whenever I start doing shows.

Jennb, Congs. on the white FW. That was truely a great find.

We went to an estate auction today and found a treadle machine that the machine has Edgemere on the top. But the bed of the machine has Sears Roebuck Co., Chicago, IL. The irons and the foot peddle have Sears Roebuck Co written into the irons. I will show a picture tomorrow to dark for pictures to night. The patent date on the cover dates Nov. 30, 1886. Serial # is 115586. The machine looks pretty good but dirty. The cabinet is not too bad just has one drawer missing. It is a 5 drawer cabinet and has some decals on the side and around the drawer pulls. DH saw one of these machines last year and didn't get it and could have kicked himself over and over for not doing so. He found this one almost in our back yard. All tho. we had to stand in the sun for 7 hours waiting for them to auction it off.

Also picked up a Singer 242 with a few attachments. Will show a pic. tomorrow also.
