speaking of White Rotaries...they take a standard needle, yes? I am trying to get one to play nice and treadle and ites. will not pick up the thread. Yes, I did remember (eventually) that the wheel turns away from the operator. Now I'm wondering if I forgot what needle it takes. Laura

I have a White Dressmaster rotary and it uses the 15x1 needles. I also have a White made Kenmore and it uses the 15x1s.
The needles go in flat to the right and thread left to right like a normal machine.
But the bobbins, at least according to the manuals I have should rotate counter clockwise when in the bobbin case and the thread is pulled. I'm not sure it makes any difference though as mine don't seem to sew any different regardless of which way the bobbin is installed.

Hey Lee231- that HAS to be a custom cabinet- I have never seen anything like it, treadle or not.

Joe and Elaine likes it. Oh wait, this isn't Face Book .............

Thankfully it's too far and we're too broke or I'd go for it. I really like that cabinet.

Not too far for me, but I'm not in a buying mood. I do like the cabinet and the fiddle base. Oh, oh, I just looked again - it is pretty and Rockford is closer than GR.
