The IKEA lamps are wonderful. Now how to I keep the GKs from turning them into pretzels?

Miriam, I think I may have had the same machine badged as a Morse. The one I had also had the reverse lever on it. It was the same as your machine as far as I can tell. Is yours a 3/4 size machine? Mine was. I had no idea who made mine, but it was a Japanese made machine (Deluxe Badge on it) I suspected that it was about 1955-1960. It had a UL sticker on it and a Good Housekeeping sticker too (I think that is what they were).

They sure do look alike - yours has more decals. I did not realize they cloned those. I wonder how many of them they sold? Wow with zig zag coming out? I noticed mine would hand crank if I wanted it to.

I have some Singer 306 Fashion Discs. Will these work in any other Singer zig zag machine? I have a 401A. Thanks.

You need the "top hat" cams for the 401. The 306 uses flat cams.

    Miriam,
I bought 2 of those cute little IKEA lamps, use them with all of my machines. Its great to put the light right where I need it.

They work in 306, 319, 328 and some Merritt machines - and I think a few others.
