The stitch length knob is not the correct one, it looks like something that somebody substituted. My red eye 66 machines are 1914 and 1921, neither of them has anything like that.

Thanks for the info and observations on the Red Eye. I'm kinda excited to get it but it will be next summer before they come back this way. I seriously did not need another machine but couldn't pass it up when I saw the pictures. I also have an old Singer hand crank with the wood dome cover. It's so neat! They really knew how to make machines back then.

Your stitch length control knob isn't a homemade job or just a substitution. Back when your machine was given a motor your machine also received an upgrade kit to add a reverse function. I would keep it. Reverse is a nice upgrade.

Thank you, Rodney, for that information. I'm really anxious to get it and see in person what it is really like.

I was wondering if that was a reverse! I had not seen one in person. The 66's had internal mechanisms, and others had external mechanisms. The 27, 28, 127, and 128's have the external ones. Those I have seen.
Thank you from me too Rodney.

That appears to be a Revco Model 202 Reverse Stitch Attachment.

Thanks for that CD. I was thinking it a different brand than Revco. I'm used to seeing the #303. I didn't know they made both styles. There's also one like the 303 but with a sort of football shaped plate.

That is the one I was talking about. I stand corrected on the models it fits.
    Thank you CD.
