I have no problem with the black clamp as I mostly only do a reg straight stitch but it would be nice to have a side clamp and not have to use 2 machines
    This might help:

ok, here is my latest addition to my sewing machine stable. Found this on CL and bought it only for $20. It came with the cabinet, but no accessories. I think this machine started out as treadle, and became "electrifed" at some point in her life.

I don't know, call me crazy but I think the red rubber bands on the motor are not orginal. Just a gut feeling on my part

I just couldn't help myself. I had to e-mail them about this one and try to set them straight. Shame on me, I"m a bad boy. WAY overpriced.

WOW Jackie! Very nice looking machine and I love the cabinet. Great job! OK, OK, OK, I know I need to get off here and go to the store. I'm leaving now, stop pushing. Will check in when I get back.

I can't believe it! I just heard back from him and he assures me it is in PERFECT MINT condition and it is every bit worth what he's asking. I requested pictures. Will see, but for some reason I really doubt it.

Oh thank goodness. I was going to email them and tell they were way over priced, but I talked myself out of it.

I found this listing last night.

    http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/atq/1904550744.html

The guy had it listed as a FW. Well I knew right away it wasn't. so I emailed him and sent the link to the Singer serial number. Well he was so nice and wrote back and thanked me. I see he has since updated his listing.
