Did I miss Billy's second tutorial? I have found the first and just saw the reference to the third, so where can I find it? Am trying to do some reading before deciding when to just jump in and take the plunge to clean up the old yard-sale treadle I bought several years ago.
Hooked already...

Ok, so I've just opened my treadle and sewn on it.It's been sitting idle for 25 plus years.Made all my 1st DD's baby clothes on it.
Remembered to oil it first and guess what...IT WORKS. Just like a dream.Looked up Singers site, and it was made in Clydebank Scotland in 1955. It's a 201K.
Anybody know anything else about them??
Oh, and here's a pic.

Mix Johnny, you made me laugh. It's extremely heavy and in a cabinet, so no I won't be shipping it to the US any time soon. It's going to stay right where it is inside my front door. Too heavy to lugg upstairs to the sewing room. I was so happy that it wa still sewing perfect stitches after all this time. I bought it from a friend of my mums just prior to getting married, I think I paid $20- for it. My DH thinks it's just a waste of space, but I love it.

We were born the same year she needs to send the machine to me.
Sent off my 'broken' machine today back to seller. We shall see what happens.

A friends says she has a sewing machine for me.
Its small and fits in your hand and she has all the parts and manual for it.
Ohh yea and its an antique. hmmmmmmm
I have no idea what it is
I am thinking something from the 60's though not antique
we will see when I get it

Another question for everyone out there. Has anyone evern seen or heard of this brand. It's a Pinnock, model name Bluebird. Bought the machine 10 or so years ago, with a number of cogs for the embroidery stitches. It's a very pretty green, but an extremely heavy machine. Thanks
Linda
