Now we are on to talking about "cloning" Lostn51 !! If we did that....then he wouldn't be unique or orginial BUT on the other hand.....hmmmm, not a bad idea! Tehehehe..
I have been gone for 4 days so im behind on this posting SO I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving and perfect weather as i did....except our 18 yr old dog suddenly got sick day after & died morning after..was beathing really hard & no energy to walk straight, just wanted me to talk/hold her til we warmed her up in a blanket and left us 10 min later. Sorry, didn't mean to put a damper on this, but I figured there would be questions on how she died.

nwm50, so sorry to read about your 18 year old dog, but what a testimony that the dog lived to be 18! Not many dogs live to be that age. What kind of dog was she? I know Chihuahuas can live to be that old and older, but not many dogs make that age. Again, very sorry to hear; but it gives me hope that my 13 year old Chihuahua and 13 year old lab/chow may live a while longer.

I am very saddened by the news of your furbaby. Just know that he is running around and having fun at the rainbow bridge.

Billy always says the shop is like family and your loss is all of our loss. May his soul be at rest.

    Cherrybsixty,

Here is a photo of the table topper log cabin wreath that I finished yesterday. The piecing was done on Mr. Two Spools treadle, the straight-stitch quilting on 201 treadle, and the decorative stitch from the Janome T-30 for finishing the binding. I discovered while piecing with the Two Spools that the moment the needle and foot no longer had any fabric under it the top thread would cut off (like having an auto-thread cutter), but as long as I kept feeding the piecing through the machine all worked well. One of my favorite parts of this machine is its 1/4 inch foot.
Now I'm working on project three, all Christmas gifts to my family that live far away.

Sorry to hear that your dog passed away. We lost Dixie, our
16 yr. old lab/pit mix due to kidney failure in April. Our pets are family members and it hurts just as bad as when one of our human family members dies.

I pieced, free motion quilted and sewed the binding with my Singer 237 treadle(zig zag). Its a great machine for FMQ.
