Sorry I can't find the one with the quilt top.
This is with a Necchi. She states that she did the free-motion with a darning foot. http://www.necchilady.com/twin_needl...ing_with_.html

Glenn, I'm too busy having fun with her right now. My stitches are coming out very nice. The top stitch at first wasn't as pretty as the bottom, but after playing with the top tension it is much better. She sews beautifully through flannel and many layers; so, I should enjoy sewing on the bindings. Thanks!

I have used one for decorative stitching, topstitching hemming, and making fine pintucks. Modern machines use a double needle; some older ones have a clamp and you actually use two needles.
