Yes, I looked it up earlier and found that out. I am pretty excited about it! I should have went to bed an hour ago, but found a neat site about Singer through the ages 1850-1940. I've checked this page several times this evening with each new post. Well, I need to stop for now---although I will probably check back 1st thing in the morning....I need to think about a place for it to go when it gets here...lol
Hispatchwork,
What's the URL to that website please?
Thanks,
Sharon W.
Be careful if your Hubby does get interested in the "old girls" because it can get addictive. My Hubby has a long list of names and phone numbers of people that have an old machine they might want to sell. ?uote]
Is this ever true. Mine is crazy about them old ones. LOL

Am I not following what he is saying or is it my Half Hymers??????

We all love sewing machine history, please post anything interesting you have found in the site you are studying about Singer through the ages, or send us the link.

Enjoy your treadle. The repair man called and my hand crank is ready to pick up. While there I will pick up a belt for my treadle. Kathie S

Ok thread police don't yell at me! I am talking about throwing away really old thread! It is not worth taking a chance on your priced quilt falling apart because of 'old' thread!

Jan, I have a couple of winders, will look and see if one fits. Your decals are just in great condition. What a deal! I had 9 treadles at one time. Now I'm down to one White. No room for more.
