I found myself a birthday present - My first Featherweight and "Lucy" and I are both 60! She sews beautifully - still needs some clean-up. I love it!! Oh my - I think I'm hooked! LOL

Actually I can't believe I got it in there at all: Verrry small shed. Who knows how I'm going to sew with it but it really looks grand

She looks very nice for being a commercial sewing machine. Have you done a test drive?

Indeed yes Caroline. Very fast was the first thing I noticed, but the controller does very slow just as well.

It's strange, a few weeks ago industrials were going for a minimum of $300 here. The last few weeks I've paid $6.25 for a 206K10, $100 for the 96K49 and just bought another 96K head for $20! The folk who buy these must still be on holidays. There's a 31K for $80 negotiable too! Good time to buy them: Wish I had a warehouse

Easier to acquire than to get rid of a sewing machine - well at least around here.
