But we can dream can't we! Once the vintage bug has bitten, it is hard to resist. Have been intending to take my daughter who likes to thrift shop to all the places around here, and there are alot looking but I just do not have any more room for now. Unless I find a FW, then I will find room.

Good luck Karen! I was seriously thinking about it because I have family in Ellensburg and thought about asking if someone could go pick it up, but then realized I would still have to drive up and get it from there and my husband would really think I had gone off the deep end since we are already have tickets to fly up in August. Don't think I could persuade the airline the machine is a carry-on. It does look wonderful!

    Karen,

Hope you get it. If you do it should use the same bobbins as the Singer 27 / 127 and 15x1 needles. Lots of oil and TLC and I'll bet it just hummmmmmms along.

    Joe,
I'm trying not to be too hopeful, can't count your chicks before they hatch, but thanks for your info. If I get it, I'll be for sure asking how to remove the head to get it into the back of our SUV. Is it the same as for my Redeye treadle? That was very easy.
