    Sewnoma that is neat that you were able to use the eyelet in a "non-traditional" way.

    Cathy, IIRC I got the Kenmore one in the late 70's as I didn't like the built in buttonholes made with Necchi-Alco that I purchased new in 1972. I got the Greist set at an estate sale. Seems like I have seen the Kenmore metal set like mine at an estate sale. Based on the price tag on the Greist set it would have been after 1946.

    I, too, find it interesting in the changes of attachments & sets over the years. I didn't know until recently about the early edgestitcher having the braider off to the side.
