Hoping you will be up to making the walk into the infusion clinic soon. Prayers are with you for a speedy recovery. Judy, owner of a Singer 99-31 1956 that is still purring like the day my Grandpa bought her for me in 1956 when I was 13 years old. She has never been to the Dr. but I have cleaned & oiled her on a regular basis.

Good grief, Joe! You reported you had kidney stones and that you hurt your back during that time, but I did not know about this infection. I'm so sorry to hear you're having such a bad time and are in pain. You are such a valuable member of this board and I always enjoy your posts. I hope your new doctor figures everything out and that you begin to feel better immediately!

Perhaps the new doc will determine just what you need even as you help us by determining what our toys need to keep "tickin' like a Timex". Maybe he or she would consider ordering Home Care so you could conserve a bit of energy (and Elaine's, too) by having those daily infusions at home. Elaine...take care of yourself and get lots of rest when you can. Taking care of the caregiver is the first priority! Without you, Joe is in big trouble. So prayers for you both.
Love and hugs to a terrific pair.

Joe, I am so sorry to hear that you are in such a desperate situation. I do hope your new doctor comes to your rescue in a big way. Be assured that my thoughts are with you and your wife as you work your way through this difficult time.

Everyone, thanks for the good thoughts and wishes. If my back would ease up so I could walk I'd be miles ahead. But I'm so week in the lower back and legs they feel like rubber.
I was going to try to walk into the infusion clinic today, but I got to the back of the Pathfinder and just could not do it. The distance from the Pathfinder to the door is maybe 25 yds, but it might as well be 25 miles. There was just nothing to hold on to for support so I could not do it.
I've never been this down in my life. I'm not handling it too well.
