    There is a group called Treadle On Pony Express. Great bunch of folks there. I have had two successful 'ponies'. Might want to check it out.

    How much did it go for? Or what was the asking price? Occasionally, I see something that nice on our CL, but even though the seller keeps listing it over and over, it never seems to sell.

    Was just on Craigs list here and the prices here in central FL are out of this world, $150-600 and up, and alot in 500+ range and they look like total junk. One guy was going on about being worth $1000 or more and it didn't look bad, but really I wonder about some of these people.

    totally. i really don't know what other sellers are thinking by pricing their machines so high. sometimes i do think of just grabbing anything which i think has a decent price and just worry about what to do with it later on. imagine for $30 you got yourself a really nice cabinet with a sewing machine. what more could you ask for.
