    I used the wrong word in that other post. Instead of coverstitch, I should have said “overseaming”. Completely different stitches, and I apologize for the confusion.

    No, later. Coverstitch machines are all the rage now. Instead of just overlocking the edges of fabric like a serger, it makes the hem line you see on t-shirts, for example.

    My wife just added a Janome CoverPro 1000CP to her shop machines about a week ago, maybe that’s why I used the wrong word for the overseaming machine that this thread is about. I must have cover stitch on the brain....

    Nice machine...I think it is worth the money....Just don't know how far it would be...maybe that is a good thing.
