Some have been altered to use a foot control, but either way the outlet and or the knee control is missing. Knee controls, especially the bayonettes are VERY expensive to replace. They cost upwards of $30-$40 for the knee lever. And, I'm not certain about this model, but the models following this one need pulley drive replacements if they've sat unused for longer than a week or two, which can cost $30 or more for the part and labor of course, if you can't do it yourself is worth more than the machine is worth. This should be considered a parts machine only.

Notice that there is no picture showing the front. I have one, although I have not looked at it in a year or more, and I think it has an internal motor. I do know that some use a foot control....I assume this is one of them......maybe it's jury rigged and that is why there is no front view.
It is missing the case, which fits around the free arm to make a flat surface.

I think the main thing missing is the case. She says it has been tested so it must work. The case was a very important part of the one my mom had. I have her table that she got with her elna in the 50's. Have my current elna on it now and its perfect. Love elna's
