That's just the neatest cabinet. Bet the machine is great to sew with too.

Go for it. The W&W9 is a GREAT machine. I have seen this style of cabinet before and I love. Great find.

I love those spindles on the cabinet. The machine looks interesting too. Nice find!

WW seems to have some very unique cabinets. I'm looking for the one that looks like a small bookcase when closed. It's got a glass front with fake books even. If you didn't know what to look for, you'd never guess it was a sewing machine cabinet when all closed up.

so - did you get it? I can't find the add for it anymore - and the one for the Gold machine is gone too. Nice stuff like that rarely shows up locally for me (which I consider less than 2 hour one way drive). Which may be good - as when they do they seem to end up at my house more often than not.

That is a pretty one. I love the spindle work! It would be a perfect addition in a Victorian parlor.
Spindles like that were popular in Victorian architecture. There's a house in Astoria, OR that has a porch whose entry is framed with interlocking balls and spindles similar to that. I've also seen that type of spindle work inside houses in passages between rooms.
    I hope you got it.

Yes, one reason this treadle appealed to me....my husband and I spent the first 17 years of our marriage restoring a Victorian stick style home. Talk about a labor of love! I didn't get this treadle....would have loved to but don't really have the space at the moment and it was back "home" so would have been a lot of planning, asking daughter to go pick up, etc....you get the picture.

    Default similar

Cogito, this is so similar to mine. It was my Grandma's but it's mine now. It's in better shape now than the picture. Been through a lot of cousins before I got it.
