Well if you ask me, it's "yes"!!! It's a beautiful cabinet!

That's gorgeous and around here they go for much higher than that. It's so beautiful. If you have room, please give it a good home.

You have to ask? Looks like it's most likely a Singer model 27 with good Sphinx decals and a fairly ornate treadle cabinet. I've seen just the drawers sell for more. If you have the room and your wife won't divorce you go for it.

@ liking quilting - great. i know. love the cabinet too. i don't have this kind of treadle yet. would be nice to add to my collection.

@ GreyQ - i will surely find a room in the garage. that's the only place they are allowed to roam around (ha ha ha).

@ Rodney - you're 100% right about it. i checked ebay for my other treadle and they're asking like $45-80 just for the drawers with braces. and when you add the shipping you're looking at over 100 just for the drawers.

thanks a lot. really appreciate it. i had an appointment with the owner to check it out tomorrow. will keep you all posted.

Of Course you should check it out! You're on a hot streak now, and this is a group of enablers pushing you onward.

ha ha ha. now the question is - what to tell my wife when she sees this one in the garage. there's no way for me to hide it unlike the portable ones (ha ha ha again).
