White rotary model 43-I need help
Hello, I'm a new member and it's my first post. I just purchased a White model 43 in a beautiful cabinet at a flea market. In being too enthusiastic while cleaning the dirt and grime off I also loosened the tension control and the tension regulator. The tension knob broke, I guess it was brittle. Plus when I loosened the tension regulator a disk fell out. I haven't been able to re-assemble these parts. Any and all help would be appreciated. The numbers inscribed on the back plate are: 43X9742. I have a manual but it has no mention of these other than a pic of threading. I need to know how to assemble this tension regulator and where to get another tension knob.
Thanks for your help.

I can't be of help, but someone at www.victoriansweatshop.com may be able to help. There also may be YouTube videos that will help you reassemble the tension.
Welcome to the board! Congrats on your purchase!
