These machines have a needle position lever, but when it's put on straight stitch, does it park to the left or in the center? The needle position on my machine was all messed up when I got it. I'm trying to get it squared away but not having a lot of luck.

Most machines that have a L-M-R needle position lever park in the center when on straight stitch, but I do have one that parks to the left even though it has the L-M-R lever.

This machine came with only the ZZ foot and cams. No manual or anything else.

Try looking here.. my machine is just like yours, but it is a model 2402...I thought I had one downloaded somewhere, but can't find it now.. also if you google it there is a video on you tube showing some things about it.
