Love that table, especially the drawers and stool. Wish I lived near there.

if you were looking at a brand new machine it would be a lot more money and a lot less value

Don't feel like a sucker!! We've all paid more than we should have for things, whether it be a sewing machine or something else...only to find out it wasn't worth what we paid...call it a learning experience, keep the machine and use it....they're FUN!

Absolutely. Market prices are not what these machines are worth...but they are what they are...

LOL, well, I have three machines; but I only use one, which is not "new" but not vintage either. I've had several "low ball" offers for the Singer, but I'll keep her if I don't get a reasonable offer. My third machine is practically brand new (Singer 7422) and it cost me about the same as the 99.

my 99-k (1956) came with only one bobbin and one foot- in great shape- beautiful & clean- i paid $20 for mine-
it is a *little tank*! as in being all cast iron- it weighs!!! definitly need some muscle to carry it around! but i love the machine and was happy with the deal i got-
i've seen them range from $20 right on up----some with attachment boxes and lots of feet/bobbins ect seem to fetch $50- $75

My 99k13 came in its bentwood box, with all it's accessories, key, original oil can and knee bar. It was in great shape - the lady had used it for display. I paid $40 for it. I have other machines, but I just love how it sews! Mine doesn't have the back tac - these machines are with so much than the cheap plastic newer ones.

My daughter bought my 99k for $40 including shipping fro the goodwill site.
Only came with one bobbin. No attachments or book. I have since gotten a manual, a new belt and bobbins. She is a three quarter machine and is NOT a lightweight machine,

Those 99s and Spartans are nice machines - yup they are heavy but they don't dance all over the place when you sew.
