Actually Madame, I believe that “kick foot” in the listing is referring to the type of presser foot feed on the machine. It appears that the machine is in an electric power stand instead of a manual treadle stand.

I’ve not ever heard them called a kick foot, but early alternating presser foot machines similar to the one listed were sometimes called “Jump Foot” feed machines. Instead of having the alternating inner and outer feet movement ran by gears, some of the old ones had a spring return system on one foot.

I'm afraid sewing with that, would make my stomach hurt. Seriously. It looks like a worm, wearing a cigar band.

While looking at the machine, tip your head to the right. Just above the needle area seems to be a green shoe. Continuing to the right, is the ankle, a white sport uniform type sock, on up to the right just before the balance wheel is a lovely rounded right angle where the "knee" is, continuing up (down the pillar, really) to the thigh.

I think there is pun or double entendre (spelling) here calling it a "kick foot"...would that be a football or soccer player's leg and foot?

Sorry, folks! I'm afraid this one makes me laugh, but I wouldn't be caught dead sewing on it! LOL!
